Today we rolled out a few important changes for teachers. Here’s a quick summary of what’s new:
Invoice Changes
- We’ve updated the invoice format so that Charges and Credits are now listed in separate columns. This makes the invoice easier to read and less confusing (few questions from your students means less work for you as a teacher).
- For some users custom logos were not appearing on the invoices. This problem is also now resolved.
- The « Pay Online » link in invoices now works correctly on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.).
Email Templates
- You can now customize the text used in the system emails sent from My Music Staff. That means, your invoice emails, welcome emails, etc. can all be tailored to your exact writing style.
- Email templates are located under your profile settings; there is a new tab named Email Templates.
Lesson Notes
- When taking attendance you can now email your lesson notes directly from the attendance pop-up window. This option only appears if the student (or parent) has an email address configured in My Music Staff.
